STEL was established in 1979 by Annamaria Mazzucco, who is still its major representative, becoming soon a manufacturing company of elettronic stabilizers and interruptible power supplies. Starting from 1979 to 1993, a great technological development and lots of investments in the research brought Stel to the project of an innovative welding system: the INVERTER.
Today STEL srl is among the most prestigious companies of design and production of both INVERTER and cut machines with a turnover of € 10,000,000.00 a year. Thanks to their willing of growing, Stel has recently purchased a company in Poland, which will open the doors to the new coming markets in East Europe and all former members of the Sovietic Union.
